Renting?

I have never seen so many residential moving companies in my entire life. Driving around the St. Louis area it seems as if everyone is moving. There are so many different company moving trucks it is amazing. They are everywhere, but I have yet to see a person actually moving into a house. I am guessing it is still very difficult to finance a home nowadays, because there have been numerous foreclosures in the area in which I am currently residing. However, I have found many for sale sign throughout residential areas that have been in the same yards for months, or since I have been in town. Now isn’t that ironic, that people are moving but there are for sale signs posted everywhere. I just hope times will change and the country will arise out of this recession. Where are all of these people moving? I figure since that the housing market is so appalling everyone is renting out apartments, small housing, and duplexes.

And yeah, those moving services must have their work cut out for them about now!

Moving supplies are pretty universal, though ... they're always in high demand.

I wonder how many mobile storage companies are also in the area.

I know that houses are not moving fast in the Columbia markets either.  Those storage spaces sure do help in staging your house if it is for sale to make it more marketable.
