Long distant moving is hard especially if you do not have a job in the city you are planning to move to. Since I have relocated about three months ago I have spent hours and hours applying for jobs and have found nothing thus far. It is very discouraging considering before I moved I had everything together, including a job, and extra money to spend anyway I like. Even without a degree I could pay bills, buy groceries and money left to spend. Now, money is tight, and bills are pilling up knee deep. This is with a double major bachelor. Hopefully, something comes through, but my advice to anyone undergoing a long distant move is to have your self storage, job, house, and a bank account set up prior to moving to a different city. It will save you money, time, and some sanity. You will not feel as lost and be as poor as others who did not have a plan before they left. And always save money. If the move is sporadic then, take your time getting adjusted and moved into your new place. Find something comfortable and affordable that way you can pay for it even if you cannot find a job immediately.
