My uncle got this old Rv and he was going to be needing Rv storage space for a while till he got enouf money saved up so he could eventually fix up the hunk of junk well it sat in the parking space for about a year and when he finally got it out to start working on it a nice little birdie had made a nest in the engine and my aunt a avid bird watcher made my Uncle keep the Rv there till the babys grew up and flew away well now the Rv looks great it has a plasma tv in the bed room and in the living area and the kitchen area looks nice as well he put all new appliences and new counters and cabnets and no birds. 

They say it is suposed to snow tomarrow I hope it dose because then I can go sleading but I am going to have to make a trip to out local self storage center so I can dig them out of our unit.

I was looking for a long term storage unit for my stuffed animals because I have so many as I was going through them I found the cat the police officer gave me the night my dad died and I figured that I should help some other child who is going through some hard time like I did so I called the Shariffs department ang gave then all of my toys so they could give them to children but I hope no one will ever have to use them.

It is snowing out side I am so excited you get to have snow ball fights and make iglues and snow angels the only part is not that fun is shoveling snow and the slick roads and tracking snow into the house that reminds me I have to go to my storage facility and take all of my snow equitment out before it gets to bad.

Last night I was watching Modern Marvels on the Discovery chanel and they had a whole segment on storage boxes , what the fist box looked like how the card board is made ane what makes it so strong well if you cut open a box and look at the edges then you can see a zig zag piece of card bored in between the straight pieces which gives the box its strangth to stay up right and not fall over and the first card board box was not made all that long ago its been a long time for me but if you can compare it to the car then its not that long.

There are many words that a Storage person will use to determine size and type of a unit for a customer and if you are not familar with the words here are just a couple that are used the most often.

Standard a unit that is just like your grage not heated or cooled if you can put your things in your grage then you can put them in a standard unit

Climate Controlled storage units that is heated in the winter and cooled in the summer works great for clothing and electronicks, and nice wood furniture.

Premium Lease it is insurance it will cover your items up to 2500 dollars worth of damage and is some times only 9 dollars

Admin fee this is a paper fee almost every storage facility charges one some of them are 20 dollars and some are only 15 it depends on the store.

If you live in warm areas in the country like florida and you are looking for storage you should be looking for climate controlled storage with the warm temperatures and a high level of precipitation there is a good chance that your things can get all moldy but if you have a climate controlled storage then you dont have to worry about anything like that.

Funniest thing I have ever herd of regarding storage is this one time I had gotten a call and it was a woman and she said this may sound stupid but I left the keys to my lock in my unit and I already locked it so I need some one to come down here and cut the lock off, the way she was talking made the whole situation funny she sounded imbarresed but she also had a senseof humor so she was cracking jokes at the situation and at herself which is somthing I would have done just because if you cant laugh at your self then you are way to strict I laugh at myself all the time.

Most of the people who are getting ready for moving and storage are people who are going through a huge phase in there life like the newley wed couple who are going to be buying or building there first house or the family who has to get a bigger house to deal with there growing family, or the people who cant affored there house and need to move out as soon as possible all of these people are stressed out and need our help to find a perfict  storage facility for what suits them or just talking to tham sometimes a person going through somthing like that just wants to be lisened to.

There is nothing that is fun about moving the only good thing about it is when you move in to a new apartment and you get to clean you house and every thing looks all clean because it is fresh paint and new carpet and all of the bathrooms are still all spick and span and there for a while your house smells likes its brand new even there for a while you dont even have to clean all that often every thing is too new to be putting off dust that is my favorite thing about moving a fresh start.
