My family was devastated by the total loss of our home a few years ago. It was due to some faulty wiring, but even knowing what caused it does not bring the irreplaceable items back. Luckily, we had our important documents and some photos in fireproof boxes under our bed, so at least we had our childrens birth certificates and baby items saved.

Later it turned out he was going through a bad divorce and just needed a secure place for his valuables. Shame on me for thinking the worst. But, yet another happy customer.

I took an interesting call from a gentleman who was looking for a mini storage building to house items from his plays. He was a member of an acting troupe and had some very interesting items to store. Some of his requirements were, of course, climate controlled and twenty four hour access. He wanted to be able to change his clothes in his unit. Now that, I had to have the manager get back to him on.

A lifelong friend of ours is planning a big move. The subtle hints we having been directing his way pertaining to professional services has fallen on deaf ears. So now, on my days off, we will be his furniture movers. That is okay, though, return favors can be a great thing. On my next move he can provide a bit of hard labor to help out his dedicated friends.

You could have knocked us over with a feather when my mom came rumbling up in her brand new motorhome. We did not even know she was shopping around for one. She is retired now, and has plenty of time on her hands for cruising the countryside. She even did her homework beforehand and had her rv storage in place when she took delivery of her new toy.
