For christmas my dogs got some presents from my mom she always gets them somthing every year last year she got them thease puppy stockings that were filled with tug tugs and balls and stuffed animals some of them even have tennis balls in them this year she got them a ton to treats there were small dog bones and these small cookies that actrally smelled good like cinnomon there were so many treets I thought we were going to be storage rooms or maby an entire floor insted of just one space they got more things then I did I almost got jelous.

My kitten loves to play in storage boxes she went nutz on christmas because there was so much she could play on there were boxes every where and wrapping paper and all of the things we got for christmas was all over the floor she was so much fun to watch her eyes would get all dialated and she would start to do this wiered hopping thing it is hard to explain hos she dose it but when she she dose it is the funniest thing ever she was so excited her body started to get puffed up like she was scard but she was just super excited I shoud have gotten a picture of her to show every one.

I am sitting here doing nothing pondering the meaning of international self storage and how it might work is it for people who are going to be moving to another country and will be needing storage that you can ship over seas but when I think of international storage I think of those huge cargo ships that have the huge metal containers and thay are all different colors on a big rusty boat being shipped all over the world but I bet that is wrong some times my imagine can get away from me.

It is easy to see the difference in the sizes when you look across the states in New York you cant find any large storage units there because most of the housing is not vary big they are mostly small apartments but when you get to Missouri you can find storage units as big as a 20x40 which is huge because most of the housing here is large because nothing cost vary much the price differences are so large like in Califorina you can buy a house for a huge anout of money and the house is only about 3 bed rooms not vary big and then take the same amount of money come to Missouri and buy a huge 5 or 6 bed room house for the same amount it just blows my mind how different each state is.

Another call for boat storage today but the man who called today was having his brother and his five kids move in with him and he needed a vary large unit to hold his 17 foot long boat and his jeep with a bunch of his brothers furniture but the only unit that I had available to him was a 12x30 and I dont know if that was big enouf so I had to have the manager give him a call back so I kinda felf bad because he sounded stressed.

There has not been many calls for car storage lately I figured that we would be flooded with calls for storing cars but most people are still looking for storage for there homes and for RVs I have taken more calls today for bill payments and Rv storage more than anything else I bet people are wating for the first snow before they decide to store there cars.

I dont know what is up with today for some reason I got four or five calls for RV storage in a row and the stranger thing is, is that all of them were looking for inside units they did not want outside and for all of there RVs they were all way to tall for the door or I did not see a unit that was long enouf to even fit the monster on of the RVs I took a call for was 35 feet long and about 12 feet tall and it was a class A which is the largest Rv you can get and the only size unit that I had was a 10x30 so it was about 5 feet too small and even if it was long enouf the RV would have gotten at least 5 feet shaved off the top because the door was only about 7 feet high.

Some times if you get two storage spaces insted of one you can get more discounts like insted of getting a 10x20 you can get two 10x10s which is the same square footage as a 10x20 but it will also save you money because when you do somthing like that then you can get a larger discount for renting a seconed unit like 50 percent off of the seconed unit you sighn up for so when you are getting prices do some math and find out what the cheaper way to go.

Every thing is running on cheap thease days the economey is not as strong as it used to be people are more aware of what they are putting there money in to which is probablly good for people thease days it will teach the next generation that they need to be smart with there money and learn how to spend it wisely I think some kids have gotten to used to getting what they want because there parents had the extra money then and now the economey is bad so they are spending wiser but the only thing that is not herting is the storage business with all of the forclosers in the home industrey and people are not buying up houses like they used to people need storage for there things most of them are needing it for there home because they are being forclosed on, some are needing to down size because they cant afford to keep there house any more and they want to store the things that wont fit in there but just because the storage industry is doing fine dose not mean that we can not still have cheap storage that people will need and enjoy having.
