My friends and I are taking a ski trip to Colorado in the next coming month. We are buying all kinds of things to make the trip fun like a snow mobile, snowboard, skis, ski equiptment, and lots of snow clothes. After our trip we will need somewhere to put all of this stuff because it is warm here so we will not be using it. We will either put all of it away until winter here, or just save it for another trip. We are looking for a cheap storage unit nothing that is to classy or expensive, or stuff is just going to sit in there until we decide to use it again. We will not need it until after the trip so it will be at least a month from now, and we are all splitting the cost.

Last week my mom informed me that we would be moving to a new house all the way across town. I am not looking forward to trying to get all my stuff  plus everything in the house all the way over to our new house. I am excited to see what it will be like to live in a different part of town, I have lived in the same house my whole life. Once I packed all my stuff and helped my mom pack the rest of the house I realized that there was no way we could move all this stuff ourselves. My friend recently moved and told me about the big moving truck that they got, so I told my mom that we should try and get one of those.

Renting a self storage unit is similar to renting an apartment unit when it comes to insurance. In both cases, the owner of the complex has insurance for the building itself.  The renter, of both the storage unit and the apartment unit, is responsible for the contents inside of the structure.

Yes, I too bought one of those upside down planters this summer that everyone saw advertised on television.  It seemed like a great idea at the time.  Throw in a tomato plant, some dirt, and some water every now and then and eat tons of luscious tomatoes all summer.  I got one tomato from my planter.  There goes my idea of giving away boxes and boxes of tomatoes to the neighbors.
