I love snow. Winter is my favorite time of the year. But I need to be working in storage so I do not have to pay for 3 storage units on the first. This makes it difficult to enjoy the season. I tried to get things done after work yesterday. After transferring one load, my hands and feet were numb with cold. Hm, since the weather is not cooperating with me to get this work done. And there is nothing I can do about it. I AM going to enjoy the snow, Bless it!  It is settled, I will take a walk in the snow after work today. A short walk with my hands in my pockets for warmth, of course.

Schools out for winter and oh boy are the students needing storage units .  It seems that colleges for whatever reason are taking quite a recess in between semesters.  This poses problems for the students especially when they are between housing not to mention the parents of said students paying out extra money.

Every facility has storage units of varying size.  Pricing is usually based on the amount of space needed, with special rates reserved for spaces that are more difficult to access or when there is an abundance of a particular size.  Other than that, the price usually goes up the bigger the space is that you are trying to reserve.

I use a lot of cabinet in my house. I think that cabinets are a good way to organize and conceal extra stuff. I would like to build my own cabinets some day, so I can store the junk in my mini storage unit . Then, I wouldn't have to pay the bill every month.

The huge snowstorm this past weekend shut down all kinds of businesses, including self storage facilities.  Companies that are clients of PhoneSmart were still able to get storage units reserved for new customers, even though no one was in the local office.  Our self storage specialists were able to get everything set up for the new customers, so they can go into the office as soon as it reopens and get a unit.

Grrrrrr, this is not a great time to move. The Christmas Holidays make it difficult to get help. The winter weather is limiting the time I am able to actually work shifting boxes from the two storage units I am vacating into the new storage space that I hope will hold all that remains. I MUST complete the transfer by December 31st or I will be paying on three storage units . ARGH! That will NOT fit my budget. sigh

I am a customer who calls around looking for prices on storage units  that is it. I set 2hours aside so that i could call these places to get prices and a little more information about the facility. So to the stores that i am calling i only want what i am asking for not what you want to tell me. If anything that makes me angry as a customer i want you to listen to what i  have to store and tell me what size i need and how much it will cost me when i get there. I dont want any surprises when i get down there. I just want someone to listen to what i want when i call you for prices and information about your facility. Thanks. 

Brittnay Murphy died this morning as a result of a heart attack. It's so sad because she was so young and such a great actress. I've received many calls before from people who need storage because their loved ones have passed away. Fortunately, I've never been in that situation but I imagine it has to be very difficult. It's nice to know that I have the information and skills to help someone who has to go through this, and get a storage unit as quickly and smoothly as possible. Hopefully it helps them out even just a little.

There are a lot of people who store just their clothes.  I would never spend money just to keep clothes.  The average price of storage units in the United States is way higher per month than what most of my clothes are worth.  I would much rather find a family member or friend who can store them for me.

Today I dont know but if feel good today the words are just comming to me and my calls are going alot smoother and they are also a lot shorter then they normally are even my credit card reservations are not taking as long as they normally do plus it also seems like I am typing alot faster then normal because I am a horrable typer but today my fingers are having no troble finding the buttons they are supposed to be hitting so today feels like a good day for storage units every where.
