Sometime I like to give inanimate things and objects human characteristics. Have you ever thought that maybe storage units aspires to be filled. Maybe storage has a life long dream of being rented, and it is sad when it is empty. In this case a storage space would love someone who prepaid for a year.

Many people do not realize which type of storage unit they need when it comes to storing books and papers.  Most people would think a standard unit would be fine.  However, in some cases, it may be better to put those things in a climate controlled unit.  This is very important in areas with high humidity.  Paper can mold and stick together when wet.  You would not want your childhood books covered in mold the next time you want to take a trip down memory lane.

Yesterday I was outside talking to my neighbor and he is getting ready to move and he was telling me about a storage space he got that was big enouf to fit all of the our cars to fit in them and that is 2 trucks, 1 jeep, 1 pathfinder, a mustang, a motorcycle and a little itty bitty yellow car the little yellow one is out neighbors and its funny because he rides harleys and has a bunch of tattoos and he drives a little yellow car it reminds me of a clown car the ones that some how fit 20 clowns or somthing like that but he was telling me he only pays like 60 dollars a month and i was suprised but it is because he got some kind of special for a year or somthing but it was vary cheap.

So I am almost done unpacking all of my things from the boxes and now that I am getting closer to being able to see the carpet I am realizing that I am gonna need a mini self storage The things that I thoughtI was gonna space for it is just not working out at this point and if I can get a cheap deal on like a 5x5 id be good to go. Guess I should start calling around now cuz I need one to be availbe and I prefer only storagemart.

I just had a guy call to rent ministorage in Florida for all of the junk in his car.  He said he was a professional soccer player, and had just driven straight through from Boston.  He said he was tired of smelling his shoes and other soccer equipment, so he wanted a small unit to put it all into.

A ode to mini storage

Oh mini storage you hold my life possions so well, with heating and cooling keeps my things from drouling and becomming all wet I may never see you agian my lovely mini storage some times i wish i could live in you and never have to pay your bills but it is not to be because i only need you for a month.

It is funny, but when I think of mini storage , I think of a tiny storage facility in which magical elves can put thier wooden bows and home made sheild in.  Obviouly, that is not the case, although I have seen units small enough that only an elf could fit in the space.  However, this type of property can be good if you only plan to store things for a couple of days.  If you have a lot of stuff or any furniture though, make sure to go a little bigger than mini.

Can you believe I have actually talked to callers who want a price on storage units , but dont really ask all the right information.  Like anything  in America today, there are extra fees.  Most places have a deposit, administration fee, or both.  This can be as much as a month's rent by itself.  It is stupid to call for prices, then not even ask what else you might have to pay.  Be a smart consumer, always ask what you will pay total.

So I have been in the new apt for about 2 wks almost and things are still everywhere. I have tried to pick up things to make the situation easier but with work and my son I am actually burnt out. Like I wish i had furniture movers then i could ask them for help on putting my sons bed together that would be great. and i still have stuff in the indoor storage? What would you recommend?

Pictures need to be kept in climate controlled storage to protect the film emulsion against any damaging heat. Heat can make the pictures curl up, crack, change colors, and even blurr the images. Some artists even use this to their advantage and manipulate the temperature to create the desired effect. Even roll film needs to be protected.
