When going to the grocery store to shop for healthy foods your basket should be filled with mostly outside items. Outside items include everything outside of the inner isle. When shopping you should first start off with the veggies, fruits and then proceed to the meats. After the meats then you should continue to the dairy products like cheese, yogurt and milk. Now when you are doing shopping the outside foods then move to the isle without boxes . You want to stay away from from box items that contains high calories and high fat distribution. You would then go down the bread isle to get your whole wheat so that your body can go into selfstorage mode. If you get boxed items just make sure that they dont outweigh the healthy items in your basket. Happy shopping. And you should endulge every now and then

I took a few minutes today to clean off my desk and wipe off the dust. I feel like it really freed up some of the space in here and it is funny, but I am more relaxed.

Now, if only I can take this theory home and clean out the junk rooms, drawers and clutter.

I still have that basement full of stuff that I never put in the garage sale I have not had yet. As of now, my options are to rent storage or take them to Goodwill. Both require a truck and action from me, which means that stuff is going to end up sitting in my basement for another 3 weeks.

Sometimes we get wrapped up with the call after call after call that we may take from prospective callers in search for storage . It can be redundant at times seemingly like you are repeating yourself time after time. If you have that frame of mind, then you will get frustrated quikly. And guess what, your caller can hear it in your voice. Keep your calls fresh by switching up the information to a different format of explanation. Use a new phrase or wording that is not the same as your usual conversation. If you can manage to keep each call fresh, you will be a happier helper to your callers and your callers notice it.

It is the last day of June and the phones are ringing off the hook here at PhoneSmart.  A lot of callers are stressed out because they have to be moving out of their current living situation by tomorrow. The end of the month just seems to have jumped up on them.  But never fear, PhoneSmart employees are here to help.

In the self storage industry comes across many odd tenants and stories that they have to deal with each and every year. You would think that self storage is just a place where someone could store their goods while they are in the process of moving, or for a business that needs free space to store their overload of files that they have to hold on to for the next seven years in case they need to refer back to the logs.

However, not only is it used for your basic self storage needs but other oddities occur that real estate management has to deal with. These circumstances although unpredictable, must still be dealt with.

There was once an auction that was held by real estate management at a storage property because the tenant could not keep up with their monthly storage fees. The storage facility had to put the unit up for auction as they normally do when someone defaults in their rent. The unit in turn was sold to the highest bidder.

When the person who purchased the unit, was able to go through the items of the space, they opened up a barbecue grill that had something wrapped in aluminum foil. The purchaser thought it was a piece of wood, but instead it turned out to be a real life human leg.

When real estate management reported this to the police, it turned out that the previous owner of the storage unit had his leg amputated for medical reasons and wanted to save his leg as a souvenir. The rightful owner of the leg was reunited with his leg after a full investigation was conducted. Unbelievable, but true.

I have been meaning to have a garage sale for the past 5 weekends. Every Friday night, something comes up that puts it off another week. This week is The Weekend - I WILL, MUST, HAVE TO sell the junk piled up in my basement.

All the hard work is monstly done. I have sorted through all the closets, nooks and crannies in my home and decided what is in the Sell Pile. Now I just need to SELL it, and fast. My sister is moving in with us in a little over a month, which is really one 8 days, if you just count the weekends (which are the only times we have to clean out the basement and fix it up).

YIKES, when I put it like that, it makes me anxious.

I am exited to have her come live with us. I have no family in the area, so having my best friend downstairs will be AWESOME. Of course, we are sisters, so there will be plenty of arguing, but we have perfected the art of arguing and still laughing at the end (we have had lots of practice).

I DO love my sister and I cannot wait to have her here. It is just all the stuff she will bring with her that may make our house a little crowded. I think I will suggest splitting the rent of a self storage unit with her to get some of the uneeded items out of the way.

It is always great to find a self storage coupon , but you should be wary of letting a coupon get in the way of your real priorities. Allow me to explain.

For better or for worse, there are a lot of factors that go into determining your monthly rent. When you are shopping around for storage in a particular area, it is often easy to forget this simple fact. A low rate or a seemingly great move in special is most always going to catch your attention. Be careful, though, because storage facilities are very aware of the actions of their competitors.

It would serve us well to remember the phrase - you get what you pay for. This, of course, is not to say that all low quotes are suspect. Remember, though, that most of the time the rate is lower for a reason. Much of the time, lower monthly rates mean lower security and/or dirtier conditions

This, of course, is why it is always a great idea to take a tour of your storage facility before you commit to a lease of any kind. Make sure that the facility is clean and safe, and that none of your priorities are going to be compromised by your unit.

Once again, then, the self storage coupon is a wonderful thing, but always make sure that you are not short changing your own priorities. Do not allow yourself to become blinded by only a few dollars a month. Get out there, do a little bit of research, and proactively guarantee that you are moving yourself into the correct unit.

It is not even 11am and already, PhoneSmart has saved a life.

Tron and Monte rescued a little kitty from the bumper of the company car today. The intern here adopted the little kitty and is giddy about having his first pet. From the look and sound of it, I would say Little Kitty is healthy - got a healthy pair of lungs and has not stopped Meowing since the Great Rescue.

I wish I were not allergic to kitties, because he looks so cute and cuddly. I know if I get close, I will puff up and be sneezy. Maybe the itchy eyes would be worth a nuzzle or two.

But the Littles do not need any more pets at the moment, according to Joel. The truth is, I would really love to have a BIG dog - a great dane, wimeriner, or something just gigantic. But we are not home enough to have a dog that needs so much exercise.

We do not have pet storage crates lying around the office, but we made due with a mail carton, towel and newspaper.

Luckily for kitty, it is potluck day for Trons birtday, so maybe she can sneak in a few pieces of pepperoni pizza.

If I needed to get a storage space soon, this week would be a pretty good one. Although the wether is calling for rain tonight and tomorrow, after that it looks like it would be perfect moving weather.  It is only suppose to be about 73 degrees out, making for cooler days.  No humidity yet.  That in itself would motivate me to get a space.  Especially before the students get all of the spaces rented up.

If it was so, it might be; and if it were so,it would be; but as it isn' t, it ain' t. That's logic.
