Ah, childhood. The memories of having lived through it, and the experience of watching our own kids move through the same developmental stages as we did fills us with a deep sense of appreciation for the wonders of being young, of exploring our world. Childhood is a magical time, and the perspectives with which innocent minds view our world can seem eerily accurate, even without their decades worth of life experience. Kids can transform a box of reusable food storage containers into a space station, an alien hotel or an icy mountain avalanche. Kids ask questions that challenge our honesty and make us uncomfortable. What is the mechanism by which these pure hearts and inquisitive minds come to these perspectives? The answer can be found hidden in childhood play and imagination.

Children make a game out of everything. Play and learning go hand in hand. When we see children engaged in their playfulness, we see find that they can be just as enamored by a box of rocks or a drawer full of plastic storage containers as they are with a fifty dollar robotic dinosaur with realistic roaring action. Kids do not need fancy electronics to keep them engaged. They make up their own scenarios. For centuries, children have played with whatever they had at their disposal, crafting games and action figures from sticks, rocks, corn husks and whatever else they could find, making magic with cardboard boxes, bubble wrapping and a roll of masking tape, flying through space in a rocket ship of their own making, creating a doll house out of storage containers that were originally meant for holding shoes, children animate everything with their imaginations, and rightfully so. They have yet to be burdened by the stresses of our adult life, the crises that we seem to have such an easy time latching onto in our later years. These places are often great for Storing boats .

Why do we trade fun for crisis in our adult life? Is the so called real world of violence, war and financial difficulty so exciting that we must focus on it exclusively, feeding the raging social machinery of worry and insecurity with our own thoughts? When children worry incessantly about monsters in their closet or a scary man coming after them, is it possible that they are reflecting the survival fears that we display in our own lives and using their active imaginations to amplify those fears? Our adult minds become storage containers of a different kind, overflowing with doubts, media imagery and messages, and beliefs that are imposed upon us by others throughout our lives. Children are indeed affected by the negativity that we surround ourselves with, whether it is through the media and the news, through our own fears of what is going on, or through the concerns of peers.

Perhaps, in order to unlock the chains of fear that we find ourselves wrapped up in, we should begin first by learning from our children rather than trying to mold them into our own personal parenting trophies. Before we impose our limitations upon their innocent and wondrous imaginations, let us first unlock those storage containers of doubt that our minds have become and give kids the opportunity to create life on their own terms as often as they can. Why imprison anothers mind simply because in the past we, too were imprisoned? Let the children play, and encourage healthy expression, rather than limiting your childrens speech and opinions. Let them be who they are meant to be right from the beginning, so that they can grow into who they can become and benefit us all with their gifts.

You should look for many different qualities when researching where to do business when investing in self storage units. First, you want to make sure youve found a business where the cost is affordable and fair for the amount of space you require to house your items. Always ask yourself, How Much Is Too Much ? Many companies offer first month deals where you have no cost or an extremely low promotional cost, like one dollar, for the first month. For a transitional use of a space saving unit, this is often a great offer to take advantage of. Not only will your transition go more smoothly without the additional hassle of these items getting in your way, whether moving or remodeling, but the cost is so low, it would not be a concern to practically anyone. The cost of one dollar is affordable to just about anyone.

Ongoing space rental can get a bit more costly, but make sure to ask how much typical charges are for the size of unit you wish to rent, though compared to other options, many people will still find that the cost, convenience, and security of self storage units is by far the best method for storing extra items. It almost goes without saying, though, that if you do not need one of these self storage units for long, this is an easy way to get the help and space you need without having to worry about the cost of paying rent at a place you do not live, such as college students leaving for trips, or working around items, such as when you are trying to remodel or paint your home. Many people also choose self storage units as they are an affordable and convenient alternative method of housing goods that they simply do not need lurking around their residence during their off seasons, like seasonal sporting goods and clothing. Stop tripping over those skis. Next, when researching where to do business, safety should be a primary concern. When checking out self storage units, make sure that there is an attendant present during regular or longer than regular business hours. This will provide you added security. Someone is there keeping track of who is coming in, where they are going, and what they are doing there.

Also, another thing to check for is a locking automated gate that can only be controlled by a live attendant. Self storage units should be as secure, or more secure, than your own home. You should be able to sleep at night feeling that your heirlooms and family treasures are being taken care of while they are not in your home. Another added security measure to ask about are security cameras. Do all of the self storage units have security camera coverage? If there is any question, or if any of these security measures are not present at the facility you are investigating, you are in luck. These businesses are present in every town. It may be worthwhile to you to consider taking your business elsewhere. There is most certainly a provider of self storage units that will have taken all the precautionary measures to make sure you feel safe and secure leaving your items in our care. Do your research. Make sure you have found a provider that wants you to have the best experience with self storage units imaginable.

What type of individual makes a good self storage customer ? Statistics show that one out of every eleven families rent local furniture storage for one reason or another. There are as many different reasons why people might choose this route as a solution as there are people doing the choosing.

An example might be a family whose children have all moved away, leaving behind various pieces of childhood furniture and boxes of toys, rock posters and teen aged mementos. One day they may want to have them back, for their own children. But right now they are off living their newly acquired adult lives in college or in their first apartment and they are not yet enamored with the idea of reliving their childhood since they have really just gotten through it.

A self storage customer can be anyone who is looking to make space in their garage, attic or spare bedroom for a home theater, home office, or just a place to put the car when the weather is bad. You might be surprised how many people actually cant fit their vehicle into their garage because of all of the stuff stored in there.

Local furniture storage gives families their garages back, and breathes new life into their hearts by adding new space into their home. What type of individual makes a good self storage customer? The kind of individual that knows the importance of creating their reality by adapting their space to their needs and desires, thats who. Truly, that could be any one of us.

How many different communities are you involved in? This question is asked because you find that there are millions of people that are part of some type of community. That can be an online community or a community that is around you were you live. There are differences between all the different types of communities.

Depending on the person, they might either be part of an online community or a community in which they have to some thing physically to join. For instance, people join online communities like a self storage community online in order to share their ideas with other storage professionals. There are many people that are a part of a self storage community and would like others to join because maybe they are not getting as much successful information as they would like. The more information or suggestions they can get the better of their business would be. You will also find that some people when they build a new storage facility they become part of that community because they live with in a particular area of land. Then it is very important to make sure that you do well with meeting and greeting within your community. You can never know who might have what you need in order grow their business more than they could ever have thought.

Just remember, no matter what type of community you are a part of, just remember, if you are polite, professional and courteous you should be alright. Know what type of person that you are talking to and ensure that all your language is clear to them. There is nothing like a miscommunication that will tear a hole in the line of long lasting relationship.

Frank was a single guy in his mid 30s with soft brown hair and steel gray eyes, who liked to wear khakis, cotton tees and a ball cap. He considered himself a typical guy. He liked to watch a lot of basketball, and he spent a good deal of time keeping up with the latest stats and standings on the professional and college level teams.

Frank had been a basketball lover since his elementary school years, when he and his friends had settled their differences on the court in some of the most tense and focused games of hoops ever played on the school playground. He grew up playing ball, led his team in high school and to this day he spent at least three hours a week either at the gym or the park, shooting baskets and playing with his local friends. His job at a local RV storage facility was not difficult or overly time consuming, and it afforded him the time necessary to go back to school at night, getting his education in real estate management , with big plans for a new career.

As Frank was approaching his graduation, he was beginning to get nervous as he realized how his transition into real estate management was going to be much more difficult than any of his previous work experiences. Taking his frustrations out to the court, Frank met his buddies at the park, where they shot baskets in the warm evening glow until it was time for him to head off to class.

At home that evening, he closed the book on his homework assignment and took out something that was a little more personal to him. It was a small picture in his wallet, with curled edges and faded color. The beautiful young woman whose face was captured in the photo was his young grandmother, who had raised him from the age of five, after his parents divorced and both headed down their own separate journeys, neither of which had included him very often.

His grandmother had been the woman that he went to for guidance his entire life. Often when he felt afraid, he would take out the picture and stare at it with the intention of receiving guidance that would show him his next step along the way. He looked at the eyes in the photograph, steel gray, like his own. He opened his heart to receive guidance in the next few days that would help him resolve his fears and ease his mind, and then he folded the picture neatly away again. He knew that an answer would come, as one always did, as long as he remained open to seeing them.

Are you a new homeowner? You might be in the same predicament that I was in. If so, you may need to look in to your self storage community to store your extras. I recently purchased my new home a couple of years ago and when I moved I was not in store for the amount of space that I had sacrificed from the duplex apartment that I previously rented.

When I started to pack, I did not take into account all of the boxes that I had stored in the laundry room area of the duplex. It was located underneath the garage from the renters upstairs, which was a good amount of space. I figured that I would only have and need about 20 boxes at the most. However that was not the case. When I started packing, I needed to visit my self storage community in order to purchase more boxes. Even though I got rid of a lot of the items I had previously stored, I still had to get more boxes in order to get moved efficiently. By the time we moved, I would say that I had a total close to 60 boxes. Not small ones, either. They ranged from medium to extra large boxes. The space that we have at our new place is no where near what we previously had. A local storage facility came in handy storing all of the extra boxes that we didnt need to have at our house and it saved the space for what items we do need.

When it comes to local furniture storage , make sure that you choose a unit that will not damage any of your items.

It is always tempting to go with the cheapest unit. Many times, the cheapest unit is going to be a standard unit. While standard units are perfectly safe for certain belongings, I hesitate to recommend them for leather items, electronics, antiques, and delicate wooden items.

As many of you know, I am an avid video gamer. Likewise, I am an avid drummer. I have piles upon piles of electronics, and a substantial amount of percussion equipment. As such, I would never choose to go with a standard storage unit. When electronics get too hot or cold, they invariably break. The same goes for percussion equipment, which is made out of very delicate, temperature sensitive wood. Drum heads always warp and snap when you leave them in a standard, non climate controlled environment.

Ask yourself, then, whether your belongings call for a climate controlled storage unit. If they do, do not concern yourself with saving a few measly dollars per month. Go with the storage unit that is going to preserve the integrity of your items, not damage them. What you will find is that the extra money you spend on a climate controlled storage unit will hardly compare to the value of the items you are storing. Local furniture storage can be tricky, but as long as you have your priorities figured out beforehand, you can keep your belongings safe and unharmed.

So you are getting married to that special someone that you met many years ago. You are family, Not By Blood But Close Enough . It was love at first sight. You could not imagine yourself with any other, but only this very special someone whom you have so much in common with. Congratulations are in order.

What is not in order is how the both of you are going to combine homes after that special day. Combining families is a hard situation in itself and you want to make things go as easily as possible. Whether you have chosen to move into the others abode or you have picked out a brand new home, everything is not going to fit into the space and storage is a necessity.

Now you have to decide what will stay, what will go and what should be stored. Of course this decision should be made at first individually and after you both have separately decided on what you each will keep, then you both must come together and decide on more items together.

If you have older children that will leave the nest soon whether by way of college, or on their own, then you may consider storing those additional furniture pieces and household items for your youngster to take claim to when they leave the nest. It can be much less costly than purchasing all new items in order to help them get started.

If you have any mementos that you do not want to lose, storage may be just the thing for you. Since units come in so many different sizes, you should always be able to find just the size needed when you have a need for storing your items.

If you have a child who is starting college and will be living in a dorm room, then keep that extra television, love seat and twin bed. The den office desk and shelving will come in very handy for your soon to be college student. Linens and towels can also be very costly if they have to purchase them new. Do not get rid of those little extras as they can be saved for a new home. Put them in storage for now.
College students really only need a storage unit the size of approximately 50 square feet. Usually it is a five by ten space which is just enough room for them to store all of their homey necessities. When they come home for the summer, they usually do not accumulate more than what they left with so you can be sure that the same size will be needed then as well.

But back to the subject. Combining families will leave for some items to be left out or that need to go one way or another. One way to go would of course be the above mentioned. Maybe you know someone else who could use items that you no longer have a need for. Maybe friends or other relatives.

If you do not know anyone who is in need, you can opt for a garage sale in order to make some money back and then anything left over you can give to charity. There are so many charitable organizations out there that could use the help. From homeless shelters, to abusive situations to simply communities that help out families that are in need. What ever you choose not to put in to storage would be greatly appreciated by others who do not have the same opportunities as yourself.

With the way that the economy is changing more and more people are experiencing financially problems. Some people have had to get rid of there cars, take their children out of daycare, and down size there housing. With the rise of money problems affecting everyone across the globe, there is also an increase in real estate foreclosure . When life throws balls at you sometimes the worst can happen and you do not catch it. Even if you see it coming it is hard to deal with when you are faced with losing your home and the memories that you have built there.

When real estate foreclosure happens it is not good for anyone. It is not good for the bank, the lenders or the home owners. Everyone loses in this situation and it is very sad that many people are faced with this tragedy everyday. It is often many peoples dream to own there home and do everything possible to get the chance. From saving money, getting a good job, maintaining good job history, and getting their credit together to have to face the tragic epidemic that real estate foreclosure has become.

Sometimes people can see it coming and try many options to get out of it. A lot of people refinance to keep them out of the loop hole. There are many different options that are out there for home owners or business owners to explore before the real estate foreclosure becomes a reality to them. If you see it in your future it is best to start now at looking at different options. Do not wait until the real estate foreclosure becomes a reality and your only way out. Prepare now for other ways to go.

Now do not get scared and not follow your dreams because of the reality at times of not being able to handle it. Start by making a set in stone back up plan so you do not have to move backwards in achieving your dream. Think it out all the way and make sure the time is right. Spend more money than usually and possibly make double payments when at all possible. If you can not make a double payment anything extra will help you in the long run. Do not fall in the trap of robbing Peter to pay Paul. In other words do not take from something that you know you are still going to do to, to satisfy another one. You are only getting yourself in a revolving circle and you will never catch up. Think all your decision out before committing yourself to a long term agreement.

Research all your options before making the final decision to get yourself into a contract. Think of the bad and unexpected things that could happen that may put you in danger. Get a list together of all the resources that can help you, so if in the event you need them they are all ready on the list. Contact people at the first sign of danger you see, for if there is a waiting list and often times a load of paperwork, that way you will have all the time you need to gain the help that you need. So follow your dreams and make sure you are truly prepared for the rainy day.

Quality assurance consulting is a respectable and focused job that is to be found in numerous industries, ranging in scope from super sized industrial plants and factories on down the line to call center monitoring operations and nail tech evaluators. Each consultant plays a distinctive role in bridging the gap between what is expected and what is supplied. It is a field that interests many detail oriented, solution based individuals. The work is a natural extension of their logical point of focus, complimenting their naturally organized personality traits.

Taking on the task of assuring that employees have the means and the structures necessary to follow procedure and protocol that is set forth from a particular company, as well as finding ways that various outdated or limiting company policies can be changed and amended when necessary is a skill and an asset. It is usually preferred that someone in this profession have a business degree, though experience is always a great consideration when looking for a candidate. There are many ways that quality assurance consulting can assist employees in helping them to meet the goals outlined for them, while enabling them to still carrying out the initiatives set forth by the company.

In virtually every industry, quality assurance consulting can be a benefit, as it helps to protect the safety of the consumer. If a mechanical fault is present, it needs to be found before the damage to items of individuals can occur, through preventative measures. The same can be said for employees whose skills are not measuring up with the expected performance levels, whether because of the lack of training or a miscommunication in understanding.

Managing the checkpoint systems that particular companies have in place to measure things like customer service effectiveness all the way through to parts and safety inspections takes work. That work covers a wide range of specialties and subdivisions for personnel who are interested in picking up the skills that are necessary to serve as a liaison, so to speak, between the developer of a product or service and the customer, or end user of the product or service given. Managing employees in order to insure that the customers are receiving the expected level of service is one of the ways that quality assurance consulting agents can determine where the most effective use of resources could be used to garner the greatest effect within the overall company.

It is always nice when a company gives its employees the impression that their work is valued and appreciated. There was a time when more companies had the luxury of appreciating their employees, but as our economy has worsened and the job market is suffering through difficult times we seem to be trying as best as we can to simply keep the flow going. As companies have lost bottom line profits and loyal employees lose valuable job space, companies are increasingly more motivated to just keep people employed than they are in trying to train them effectively.

Quality assurance consulting still has its place in business, however, because the integrity with which a business is endeavored to succeed will go a long way towards how well that business represents doing what is right for all concerned parties. Only in realizing that what is right for one may not work for all can a business strive to open the doors of communication with its employees through continuous and effective goal setting, keeping the employees not only employed, but feeling validated and important as well.
