A lot of people wonder how they know they are doing a good job. That is a very interesting question because everyone has their own perception of how well they are doing. Some people believe that they are doing well if they are completely full in terms of rental spaces, while others believe they are doing well as long as they are making a profit of some kind. With our Kansas City storage facility on Broadway Street, we feel we are doing well when we have return business.

We understand here at StorageMart, that we cannot get people to stay forever. We know that they will use us for whatever their needs are at the time and then maybe need us in the future. We know we have great prices, a great facility and also a friendly staff, which means to us that people will come back if they need us again.

It is simple for the customer to say that they will be back and never return. We believe that when people tell us they will be back, they actually will. When it comes to Kansas City storage, we feel we are the best in the area. We will always feel this way as long as customers decide to come back and use our facility for their self storage needs. With a decent amount of competition in the area, out returning customers make us feel we are doing a great job, just by them coming through our doors for the second time.

Caleb was turning twenty one today. He was so excited to be celebrating with all the people that he loved in his life. His mom and dad were taking him out to lunch, and his friends were throwing him a party tonight. It was going to be a great birthday. Especially if Kati showed up tonight. He was going to use his birthday wish to ask her out.

He did not expect much when he went to lunch with his parents. They usually got him a card with some money in it. He was going to school to be a mechanic and college kids always need money. So he met his parents at a local restaurant and they did give him a card, but there was no cash in it.

His dad told him that his car was making a strange noise and wanted Caleb to listen to it. They drove the car out of the parking lot and down the street. Caleb did not hear anything, but his dad assured him that it was making a noise. His dad told him to pull into a Kansas City Car Storage lot and take a listen from the outside.

Caleb was completely surprised when his mom and dad told him that their car was fine, but that his present was in the parking lot. They had found a beat up old Camaro and bought it for his birthday. There was no way that Kayla could afford the house payment on her own. Todd said that he would provide child support each month, but even with his money she could not pay all the bills. She tried to get him to help out more, but he said if she wanted more to get a lawyer. 

Six months after the divorce Kayla was a month behind on the house payments and she was preparing to move. She could no longer afford such a big house. She was letting the bank take the house in foreclosure.

She and the children were going to be moving to a two bedroom apartment. Going from a four bedroom house to a two bedroom apartment would be a big change. For extra space and storage for everything that would not fit into the apartment Kayla found a Kansas City Moving Storage unit.

It is not very common for a customer to tell us that they were able to find a place to store their car that was cheaper than our facility. Jordan was the kind of person that took his time with every decision he made. He was one that never rushed into a decision or over reacted to a situation. For this reason, Jordan would be called a very successful person. It is great to hear that a person can take their time and not make an impulsive decision.

Jordan was looking to store his car for the winter and we were happy that he considered us for his Kansas City car storage . It was clear as soon as he started talking that he was a no nonsense kind of guy. We found that out, because he told us so. He began to inform us that no matter what we say to him, he is still going to shop around. He believed that he would eventually find the facility that was going to cost him the least amount to store.

So Jordan did end up leaving our facility for a couple of days in order to find the best facility in his eyes. Of course we followed up with him daily to ensure that he has not made that decision without letting us know. He had not made the decision for a couple of weeks, but since we were the most persistent and had great amenities he wanted to rent from us.

Beth sat in a folding chair looking out the window of her apartment. She was surrounded by boxes and packing supplies. It was late at night and she was exhausted from packing all day and getting the last minute cleanups completed. As she sat looking at the road she realized that it was snowing. She hoped that it was not going to accumulate or have any kind of freezing rain.

For the past three years she had been living in an apartment with her two best friends. They all had been attending college and now they were going their separate ways now that graduation was over. They had all found great jobs but for Beths room mates they just happened to be in different towns.

Beth was moving to a one bedroom apartment that she found she could afford by herself.  It was a little on the small side, but she was going to do her best to make it work.

The sun came out on her moving day and it made the snow on the ground sparkly. It was beautiful to look at but not great for moving. Beth bundled up and prepared to move. Her friends showed up shortly after and they began to move.

The next week Beth was sitting in her living room drinking coffee and watching it snow. She was all unpacked and moved in. she decided earl in the unpacking process that she needed a little extra storage. Beth rented a five by ten Kansas City Storage unit.

When Charlies grandpa passed away one of the things that he got in the will was his Grandpas fishing boat. He was the only one of his family who had inherited his grandpas fishing gene. There was nothing that Charlie liked better than to spend a beautiful sunny day out on the lake. Even if he did not catch any fish he loved how much it relaxed him.

Some of the greatest memories that he had of his grandpa included the fishing boat.
They would spend all day out on the lake together. Charlie loved for his grandpa to tell him stories about when he was a little boy. Of how he grew up on a pig farm, going to school in a one room school house. The story that Charlie loved to hear the most was the one about how he met grandma. Charlie could recite it to himself, but he loved the way that his grandpa told him.

A few days after the funeral Charlie went to his grandpas house and got the boat out of the garage. He thought that he would have enough room to store it in his garage, but when he got it back to his home it was about two feet to long.

There was no way to just leave it like it was so he called the Kansas City storage facilities that were close to his house and found a unit for his boat.
