I am really glad that I am not in charge of logistics for an airline company.  There are still people sitting in airports, stranded from the huge snowstorm last weekend in the northeast. They are trying to book any available seat to get to their destination in time for Christmas.  Now there is supposed to be another large storm system moving across the country.  That would make matters even worse.

Winter Moving

I am getting a lot of calls today for people that are in need of a moving truck .  I guess it is a good week to move long distance, since the kids are out of school and most businesses are not working too hard.  If you have to relocate during the winter, I guess this is a pretty good week to do it. 

Last Christmas all of the students in my class forgot to bring food for the holiday party. It was strange because I was the only one who remembered, and the only thing I bought was paper plates and napkins. Well this year the same scenario took place and I could not believe that we had a repeat of the year before. But I came prepared and soon a moving truck arrived with shrimp and a nacho bar.

Sometimes calling around for moving estimates requires you to take a sneak peek at the facility. Storage is a booming business and one that is quite competitive. Sometimes prices are comparable you just need to see the facility and decide which is most convenient and secure. And then just make sure that it is the best place to suit your needs.

I think I am moving to another country when I retire.  Maybe I will just travel the world for the rest of my years until I find a new place I call home.  There are so many differnt options when it comes to places that I have not been but would like to visit.  I think that people do not take enough time to stop and enjoy what little things they do have in life like life itself.

I do not like to move at all.  I think that it is a very tense time when you are moving all of your valuables from one home to another.  This is when your most delicate items would get hurt if they were going to.  This is also a time where you meet all of your neighbors and figure out if you are gonna like them or not.  I try not to move it is at all impossible.  I would say that it is nice to be in a new home though once it has all settled down.

I finished up all my Christmas shopping and I might need a moving truck to get all the presents to my moms house. We are having Christmas over at her house. We will be having a dinner and exchanging gifts too so it should be a fun time. I enjoy Christmas, but I dont enjoy being broke.

Count Blogula Presents Zen Stream of Consciousness. Groans and sighs, I am hiding and in disguise, moving supplies , transported as the crow flies, soar across the skies, I try not to hate or despise, in time I hope to become wise, I like to bake all kinds of yummy pies.

I am going to need a lot of moving boxes for my move. Come to think about it I still have about fifteen from my last move that I bought. Good thing I did not get rid of them so now I will only have to buy a few and this will save me some money and time.

Today in Mrs. Schmit class they were going to learn about different types of storage. Everything from small containers that you use to store food in, to huge airplane hangers where planes are stored when they are not flying. She had all different types of pictures to show and she even had a guest speaker. Mrs. Schmit had contacted a local Kansas City storage company and the manager had agreed to come and speak to the class about the types of storage that they offered, as well as different reasons why people need storage.

The kids were all excited to be doing something fun and new. It was not the same thing every day with Mrs. Schmit and they loved that about her. Every year when school was starting all the kids coming into the forth grade hoped that they would be in her class.

They stated the class talking about the small containers around their house and what types of things they store in them. Then they all came to the listening circle to sit on the floor and hear the manager speak. He told them about the different types of storage like Kansas City Moving Storage . He ended his talk with some of the strange requests that they had for storage. Things like live animals, and people wanting to live inside the units. The children were all well behaved and listened to his speak.

At the end of the day Mrs. Schmit asked the children what their favorite part of the day were. Most of them said listening to the manager talk about Kansas City Moving Storage .
