A good friend of mine called in today and rented a self storage unit from me. It was funny because we had no idea of who we were talking to for the first five minutes of the call then when we realized who each other were it was good times and I reserved the unit for him.
Some one hit my car last week in the parking lot at work. They were nice enough to leave there insurance information but now my car is in the shop and I had to go pick up a rental. They gave me a truck so now after work I will be going to help a friend get some stuff from his self storage unit .
I think that everyone who has the h1n1 virus should be locked in a self storage unit so they do not contaminate the rest of us. I know this sounds harsh but I do not want myself or my family to get sick. We do have a three month little boy at home and I really do not want him to get it.
Many people do not realize which type of storage unit they need when it comes to storing books and papers. Most people would think a standard unit would be fine. However, in some cases, it may be better to put those things in a climate controlled unit. This is very important in areas with high humidity. Paper can mold and stick together when wet. You would not want your childhood books covered in mold the next time you want to take a trip down memory lane.
Yesterday I was outside talking to my neighbor and he is getting ready to move and he was telling me about a storage space he got that was big enouf to fit all of the our cars to fit in them and that is 2 trucks, 1 jeep, 1 pathfinder, a mustang, a motorcycle and a little itty bitty yellow car the little yellow one is out neighbors and its funny because he rides harleys and has a bunch of tattoos and he drives a little yellow car it reminds me of a clown car the ones that some how fit 20 clowns or somthing like that but he was telling me he only pays like 60 dollars a month and i was suprised but it is because he got some kind of special for a year or somthing but it was vary cheap.
I just had a guy call to rent ministorage in Florida for all of the junk in his car. He said he was a professional soccer player, and had just driven straight through from Boston. He said he was tired of smelling his shoes and other soccer equipment, so he wanted a small unit to put it all into.
My wife and I have recently purchased an additional dresser for our clothing, which matches the set we have now. Its much bigger than our old dresser, which provides more storage space . My wife is also in the process of repainting our chester drawer as well, by sanding it down, putting primer, and then the final colors.
I plan on moving out of my house between the months of December and January. I will be moving into a two bedroom apartment so I wont have whole lot of space for my belongings. I am pretty sure that I am going to need a storage unit. I dont want my belongings in a storage unit long just because I wouldnt be able to afford but just enough time to get everything organized and figure out a place for everything. Thats why I am sure that I am only going to need temporary storage .
So I have been in the new apt for about 2 wks almost and things are still everywhere. I have tried to pick up things to make the situation easier but with work and my son I am actually burnt out. Like I wish i had furniture movers then i could ask them for help on putting my sons bed together that would be great. and i still have stuff in the indoor storage? What would you recommend?
It is kind of weird how schools all over the country have completely different start and stop dates. Schools here in Mid Missouri have been in session for a couple of weeks now. My nieces are just going back to school today in Washington State. But no matter where they live, it is hard to most kids to readjusted to moving quickly in the morning.
