The last time I was moving I really hurt my back.  I thought I had everything under control but it seems as though my large oak dresser weighed a little bit more than I had expected.  I got it from my grandfather and believe me when I say that back in the day people really knew how to make quality solid furniture.  Furniture needs to be sturdy and durable, the stuff they make today is flimsy and can fall apart pretty easy, the only upside is that when you move it is fairly easy to do.
