Real Estate Leads
Frank was a single guy in his mid 30s with soft brown hair and steel gray eyes, who liked to wear khakis, cotton tees and a ball cap. He considered himself a typical guy. He liked to watch a lot of basketball, and he spent a good deal of time keeping up with the latest stats and standings on the professional and college level teams.
Frank had been a basketball lover since his elementary school years, when he and his friends had settled their differences on the court in some of the most tense and focused games of hoops ever played on the school playground. He grew up playing ball, led his team in high school and to this day he spent at least three hours a week either at the gym or the park, shooting baskets and playing with his local friends. His job at a local RV storage facility was not difficult or overly time consuming, and it afforded him the time necessary to go back to school at night, getting his education in real estate management , with big plans for a new career.
As Frank was approaching his graduation, he was beginning to get nervous as he realized how his transition into real estate management was going to be much more difficult than any of his previous work experiences. Taking his frustrations out to the court, Frank met his buddies at the park, where they shot baskets in the warm evening glow until it was time for him to head off to class.
At home that evening, he closed the book on his homework assignment and took out something that was a little more personal to him. It was a small picture in his wallet, with curled edges and faded color. The beautiful young woman whose face was captured in the photo was his young grandmother, who had raised him from the age of five, after his parents divorced and both headed down their own separate journeys, neither of which had included him very often.
His grandmother had been the woman that he went to for guidance his entire life. Often when he felt afraid, he would take out the picture and stare at it with the intention of receiving guidance that would show him his next step along the way. He looked at the eyes in the photograph, steel gray, like his own. He opened his heart to receive guidance in the next few days that would help him resolve his fears and ease his mind, and then he folded the picture neatly away again. He knew that an answer would come, as one always did, as long as he remained open to seeing them.
