House for Rent
20 October, 200820 October, 2008 0 comments Self Storage Self Storage

There are many decorating tips that can be quite useful after finding a house for rent. Sometimes, when renting, painting walls is out of the question. However, in an effort to make your walls pretty without painting, why not try hanging a beautiful blanket, canvas, or rug on the wall to add some color and design. After you have found a house for rent, you may find that changing the carpet is out of the question. So why not convey your unique style by using large area rugs that cover a lot of space to hide any stains and any other problems that you might find with your floor. You can then match your curtains to your area rugs and therefore create even more of a theme. Even if you use a blanket, canvas, or rug on your walls, you may still find that there are scratches or blemishes on your walls that are visible. One way to cover these and make them less noticeable is to position your furniture in such a fashion that they are no longer in sight. Perhaps place your couch or entertainment center at an angle in the corner in order to cover more wall space and keep visitors from ever noticing the walls flaws.  You will probley have to take some time off to do your house moving

If you are renting a home where the lighting is less than exceptional, take heart, there are ways to brighten it up. If your home does not have light fixtures on the ceiling, place tall lamps, with shades that face upward in each room, to bounce light off the ceiling. This will create the illusion of a ceiling light fixture and immediately will make your home seem much brighter. There is a possibility that one of the rules that the owner of your home may have is that there can be no holes whatsoever in the walls. This, of course, will eliminate the thought of hanging any pictures on your wall. If you would still love to display photographs or paintings, find unique frames to place around the room on end tables. Also, there are decorative dividers that stand from five to six feet tall that contain frames within them. There are many different styles and colors to choose from when buying a divider, so do not worry about finding one that will fit in with the rest of your decor. These are great for displaying photos and also for covering large amounts of unwanted wall space. So, this wonderful idea gives you a way to kill two birds with one stone. Hopefully you can benefit from these few decorating tips after you find a house for rent. Do not be afraid to get creative because even though there are rules, this does not mean there is no hope. Your home can still be just as beautiful as if you owned it yourself.
