Cell Phones And Storage

It still does not cease to amaze me how many people these days have cell phones.  If it is not stuck to their ear, a cell phone is readily available to them attached to some part of their body or at least within arms reach.  It does not seem like that long ago there was not any such thing as a cell phone.  If you did not have a cell phone, you had a pager. And before pagers, if you had a way of communication it was a good old fashion telephone. If it were not for my job, personally I would not have a cell phone.  But these days as this world grows, communication lines expand and the need to handle more than one thing at  a time,  you need to have easy access to a comunication device. And thank god for them because now you can call anyone from anywhere.  We of course get calls from customers who are usually anywhere but at home.  I once had a prospective caller call me from his cell phone while he was actually standing in line at the a property to get prices for storage .  The reason for his call is because he did not want to wait a minute longer if he did not have to since he had other errands to run.  Like I said thank god for cell phones.  He ended up making a reservation over the phone with me and he was off to his next appointment.  It was a win win situation for everyone.  I am sure that the person in line behind him was grateful for him leaving making their wait less time. The caller was happy to take care of things at once.  The manager was happy to not have an extra person in line to assist. And I was happy to get them a spot reserved.
