Arizona Storage
Finding an Arizona storage facility that can accommodate all the needs of a tenant can seem to be an overwhelming task. A lot of people focus on security, location and the price, but that is really only half of the battle. Of course a person that is renting at the facility wants their facility to have all these features, but most people often overlook one of the most important things when storing in the desert. That determining factor is dust control. The unit has to have some sort of protection from dust or the unit could end up being covered in it.
I knew a guy that had his stuff in storage at an Arizona storage facility, and he was very happy with their service. They had given him a great rate, with great security, including a gate around the property and video cameras throughout it, with a great protection plan in order to insure that his things were safe. He never thought about dust control until the manager pointed out the upgraded seals that they installed around the doors to each unit. He asked why such a thing was necessary and the site manager told him it was because of the direction the winds blow, dust can be blown into the space if the doors are not sealed properly.
A friend of his rented the cheapest Arizona storage unit he could find and did not care about such amenities. Months later, he went to get a TV out of storage, only to find it was covered in dust from the dry desert winds. Luckily, it was not damaged, but he learned his lesson, you get what you pay for, and that the extra amenities of self storage matter. The next time he is away and needs storage, he will rent at a more secure facility with seals around the doorways.
