I know that owning a boat is a pretty expensive hobby. Not only do you have the cost of the boat itself, but you also have to purchase a trailer to tow it with, as well as maintain the mechanical functioning of the water craft. If you are boating through a lake and you hit a snag, or a big piece of wood sticking up, that can cause major damage. That sort of thing comes upon you before you even have a chance to react.
And then, there is boat storage, which, if you do not have a big enough garage, can cost you varying amounts per month or per year. One of the most interesting ways that people store their boat is through facilities that wrap the boats up like a giant sandwich, sealing them in heavy grade plastic. I would actually like to watch that process. i think it would be interesting to see. But that is just the beginning of this unique boat storage method. You see, after the boat has been thoroughly wrapped, it is lifted, via large forklift, up onto specifically designed metal racks, possibly as high as 25 to 30 feet in the air, and hung on the wall like a big bulky plastic picture, or placed inside of a shelf like a big loaf of bread.
Walking into a warehouse full or racks and racks or boats, all wrapped up like big burritos, would be somehing that I have never done.
