I have been designated as a furniture mover  for my little brothers upcoming relocation. This concerns me somewhat. You see, when I moved to a new house six months ago, I basically left Helotes Texas and took a few things, pretty much starting over. I did not have any big, bulky couches, or even a washer and dryer. The heaviest thing that I brought with me to Columbia was perhaps a futon, which I was able to move by myself. 

This weekend, however, it will be more of a concerted effort to move my brothers big, heavy items such as his humongous leather couches, his and dryer and even a refrigerator. At least he will be renting a moving truck that has a ramp, and a hand truck that will assist us in getting the job done with less back ache involved, hopefully. 

I am excited about my brothers move.  He has basically followed me Helotes Texas to Columbia, and he will be living just a few minutes away from where I live now. That is a good thing, because when I go to New Mexico in October, I plan on getting paid back to help him move by having him take care of my cats while I'm gone.  He does not know that yet, but he soon will.
