My little brother is moving next weekend. So it looks like my Labor Day weekend will consist of helping him  move as well as working at my casino job. To make the transition easier, I suggested that he go ahead and start filling boxes up and taking them over to the new place after he gets off of work.

He said that he would, so I am holding him to it...He does get kinda lazy now and then, especially when there is a chore that he is not looking forward to doing.  This reminds me of the way that I feel when it comes to mowing the lawn. But, in my defense, I did spend two and a half hours doing yard work today. Time will tell how much effort my brother has taken to ensure that my busy weekend is not completely taken up by his relocation deadline.

I had the best luck today on Craigs List...I was browsing around and happened upon a post from a girl who had just completed her move and had unpacked her things and begun to settle in. Rather than throwing them out or recycling them, she was trying to give away all of her used moving boxes and supplies. For free!  Ah, it amazes me to no end how the Universe is always helping out.
