I would like to read marketing/Sales and self-improvement books then have discussions about them. If this is something that you would be interested in joining me in. Just send me a message and then we can make suggestions for some good books and start from there!

You would be notified if I made you an "Owner" of the group.(The Owner also has the power to change the group set-up and add and delete members) I could just make all our book discussioners Owners. Otherwise, there is no forum that would alert everyone when a comment has been posted... except the Chat room, but then there would be no history kept of what was said, so that wouldn't be good.

Once we get the Book decided and who is reading along with us, I will make them Owners Of the Think Tank... and our brains will all become one AH Ah Ha!!!

I think the "Think Tank" would be the perfect place for the reading discussion group.
How do the notifications work for when something is posted in a group that you belong to? That might be a question for MaryAnn. I am sure that there are interesting comments being made on other peoples profiles ect... But I sure do not have the time to go and look at all of them. But to make the discussion interactive we would have to be notified everytime a new comment was made on the group.

Here is a thought.... Since maybe marketing and self improvement books might be too big of a committment for summer reading. Maybe we could read a trade magazine each month- broke down the 1st quarter the 1st week, etc..., then have online discusions about the information in the rags. Just a thought... JULIE

Let's do it! Pick a book... I like fiction books- suspense, mystery, and sappy love stuff (but not like juicy love stuff) Fake memoirs sound interesting... how funny, a fake memoir ;-)

I am always up for reading anything. I have a group of friends who are talking about reading fake memoirs. I actually haven't read any Steven King since high school... Hmmm.... that would be something "lite" for summer

I would be interested in reading other books and be in your book club. But I need some books to get my mind OFF work - lol, so sales/marketing wouldn't be my cup of tea. But let me know if you want to read some Jane Austen - or Steven King
